About Us
​Our Mission & Vision:
New England Schools and Scholars Association is a nonprofit organization established in 2004 with a mission to promote educational advancement, support the education sector, and train the next generation of education leaders. Our members, consisting of students and alumni from Harvard, are united by a shared commitment to improving education worldwide. Through our initiatives, we aim to foster innovation in education, ensure greater equity, and empower communities through high-quality learning opportunities.
At the core of our mission is the belief that education is the key to unlocking human potential and driving societal progress. We work toward a future where every learner has access to the best education, and where education systems are dynamic, responsive, and inclusive.

Our Core Areas of Work:
1. Educational Advocacy & Reform:
We engage in advocacy and hands-on efforts to support educational reform at both local and global levels. By collaborating with schools, governments, and policy-makers, we help improve teaching standards, drive policy changes, and ensure educational access for all, especially marginalized communities.
2. Training & Development for Educators:
We design and implement professional development programs for educators, school leaders, and policymakers. These programs are tailored to enhance skills in teaching, school management, and policy formulation, equipping professionals with the tools they need to lead and innovate in education. Leveraging the expertise and resources, our training programs prepare individuals to become catalysts for positive change in their communities.
3. Collaborations & Knowledge Sharing:
We foster partnerships and knowledge exchange with educational institutions, non-profits, and governments to strengthen global efforts for educational improvement. Through these collaborations, we share best practices, research, and innovations, working together to scale impactful solutions that address the diverse needs of learners around the world.
Our Team & Impact:
As an organization formed by Harvard students and alumni, we draw on a deep well of academic expertise and practical experience. Our team is composed of professionals with backgrounds in education policy, school leadership, curriculum design, educational psychology, and more. Together, we bring a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to our work, ensuring that our initiatives are both impactful and sustainable.
Our members are also actively involved in a variety of global educational initiatives, contributing to research, policy development, and on-the-ground projects that shape the future of education. With a strong network of professionals, we are committed to bringing innovative ideas and solutions to communities worldwide.
